Your must read travel round up ☀️

Hello from a very rainy Paris - you’ll find out why I’m here in a moment!!

I hope you’ve had a fantastic summer wherever you are, and that you’ve managed to squeeze a cheeky little holiday in there. James and I are just back from a trip to Estonia, one of the destinations you voted for in our last poll 👀

And the whole reason we chose it was because I found a BARGAINOUS deal on our SUITE which you may have already seen on my Instagram; it’s the first time I’ve booked a room with its very own private sauna. We also stayed at the really cool Iglupark, took a ferry over to Helsinki to see friends and ended up in the Estonian beach city of Pärnu. It was great!

What’s coming up in this edition?

This week we’ve got some advice for music buffs if you’re looking to attend an Oasis reunion gig or bag a ticket for Glasto, have a read of our money-saving tips. We’ve also been looking at hand luggage again yes we can’t help it! and took Primark’s new viral trolley bag for a spin.

The hand luggage chronicles continued 🎒

Now you know how much I love squishing a bag into a baggage sizer… and hand luggage is always a hot topic, thanks to the different allowances on different airlines and what seems like an endless stream of Mary Poppins’-style bags hitting the market. I recently took Primark’s newest wheelie offering for a spin on our trip to Estonia.

New Primark wheelie bag

Did I successfully board my Wizz Air flight with this teeny wheelie in tow? And did it fit in Ryanair and easyJet too?

My deal of the week

If you’ve watched the Olympics and Paralympics in Paris and got serious FOMO, then I am here to tell you that you can still get tickets!

And how do I know? Well, I’m here right now testing it out!!

The official Paris 2024 website has a whole range of paralympic tickets still on sale. You can get tickets to individual events from just €15, from canoeing and powerlifting to swimming and athletics, or there are even Discovery Passes still available on 2 and 3 September that let you watch a whole day of a range of sports for €24!

That’s what I’m doing!

Where are the team off to next?!

Merowe: I’m preparing to travel Ghana soon! I can’t wait to hit the beaches, taste all the amazing food and maybe even learn how to surf, eek!

Chelsea: Well I’m currently on my next trip - in Paris watching the Paralympics!! But yes, I can confirm that there’s a budget twist and I may already be slightly regretting it 😂

Anna: Next month I'm off on a Greek island-hopping adventure, packing bikinis, sun cream, and travel sickness tablets 👀

Say hello to Joe our new Video Proudcer!

Joe: I can't wait to say Goodbye summer, hello ski season! as I'm saving up for a trip to the Alps next year. In the meantime, I'm excited for an Airbnb stay in Morpeth before I drag my sweaty legs around this year's Great North Run.

Katie: In a few weeks I am off to the Stockholm archipelago for a factory reset! I can’t wait to switch off, spot some moose and take a dip in the sea.

James: We’ve just booked South Korea for later this year! But I need to start mentally preparing to sit in economy for 14 hours straight (Chelsea edit: you let a man fly business class once, and this is what he’s like 😆)

One last thing!
