My deal of the week

I’m back to my old tricks trying to plan some budget challenges to prove that you don’t have to spend a fortune to get away and in doing so, spotted what has to be some of the cheapest prices I’ve ever seen for a place that’s not normally synonymous with value…

Copenhagen!

So if you’ve ever fancied a trip, the next couple of months could be a great time though remember to wrap up warm!!

Budget - CityHub Copenhagen

Okay, now this is a quirky stay! I have been OBSESSED with staying in a CityHub for ages (they’re in Rotterdam and Amsterdam too) and for around £40 a night, I think it’s the perfect time to give it a go… Oh and yes, that price is for 2 people though I sure do hope you really like each other with the space you get 😆 

Mid-range - Coco Hotel

I had seen this place had some great prices, but I wasn’t expecting to find a room across VALENTINE’S WEEKEND for just £112 a night! Alright hun. This 4 star hotel was included in Conde Nast Traveller’s Reader’s Choice Awards, and I can see why. Really chic rooms with a pop of colour, and in Vesterbro which is one of my favourite areas too.

Treat - Villa Copenhagen

This hotel is stunning and I was lucky enough to stay a night midweek in that weird period in 2020 when we were allowed to travel, and so I bagged it for around £120 a night! Since then, the price has gone up quite a lot (😭) but I’ve just spotted that you can have a weekend stay at the end of Feb for just £175 a night! Honestly, this is a cracker and it’s also next to the train station so super easy to get to from the airport.

I was right in your living rooms this week, with my first ever LIVE phone in on This Morning.

The behind the scenes of this was that I was at the side of set with my laptop, desperately trying to find some great deals for the requests that had just come in! It was a HIGH PRESSURE DEAL FINDING SITUATION - and I loved it!

What the team’s been loving this week!

We’ve managed to occasionally venture out from under our slankets this week to pop onto socials! Here’s what we’ve been enjoying.

Joe: This dog sleighs. I hope I can have as much fun on my winter hols.

Chelsea: I’ve watched this video of a sea jump mishap about 47 times. Honestly, try to not laugh at it 😆

James: This classic rail-based remix came up in my feed again this week – music and trains my two biggest loves, what more could I ask for!

Katie: I came across this ahem unique opportunity to join the mile high club. I have many, many, questions...
